Let’s get you to ComCap17! This year’s conference takes place at multiple, walkable venues across historic downtown Monterey, CA, with sessions being held at Golden State Theatre (our morning venue), Middlebury Institute of International Studies, and Osio Theater. There is no official room block, but we do recommend the following hotels and lodging options:


  • Sunday, Sept. 10 – opening night reception at Monterey Museum of Art – Pacific St (6pm-8pm)
  • Monday, Sept. 11 – registration, keynotes, sessions beginning at Golden State Theatre- Alvarado St; evening keynote by Slow Money’s Founder Woody Tasch (7pm) and late night after-party at London Bridge Pub on Old Fisherman’s Wharf (8pm-10pm or later)
  • Tuesday, Sept. 12 – registration, keynotes, sessions beginning at Golden State Theatre – Alvarado St
  • Wednesday, Sept. 13 – extended learning labs & workshops taking place at Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) & Osio Theater

We recommend you book your lodging and airfare to downtown Monterey, CA immediately, as this is a very popular destination!  You can fly directly into Monterey Regional Airport, or drive from San Jose, Santa Cruz or San Francisco.
